What does hand forged mean, exactly? Your bowl will come with visual imperfections but the sound will be divine! 
The Ancient act of hand forging leaves uneven pounding marks. Bubble holes and grooves will often form during the forging process due to the uneven force of multiple people forging in multiple directions at once, the thickness of the singing bowl is typically less than perfect.

DETAILS: Maintenance

* Store in a cool, dry place, clear of any wetness and / or debris. If using with water, be sure to dry thoroughly after use
* To avoid premature corrosion, do NOT use acidic detergents, alcohol, volatile solvents, chlorides and other solvents for cleaning
* Do not use hard items such as steel balls or wool to clean the singing bowl. Avoid damaging the surface finish
* Treat with care. Do not place the bowl directly on hard or sharp items. Avoid friction, moisture and collision
